Brian Erazo Muños

Vice Minister of Regulation, Ministry of Health, Honduras 

Brian Erazo Muñoz is the Vice Minister of Regulation at the Ministry of Health in Honduras. He previously was the Coordinator of Scientific Research and Technological Development at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. 

He has also previously held the role of Professor of Biostatistics and Scientific Research at the National Autonomous University of Honduras. He was also the CEO of TeleSAN Mosquitia, an innovative Telehealth project that provided access to medical services to communities living in remote areas of Honduras. He has also served as a national and international consultant, and he is the author of several scientific publications. 

Dr Muñoz earned his medical degree cum laude in 2018, a MSc. in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics from the University of Barcelona – Open University of Catalonia in 2023, as well as certifications in International Health Management and Policies from Latin American Social Sciences Center (CLACSO) and in Hospital Health Services Administration from the National Autonomous University of Honduras.
