Early notice of RFP opportunity: Gavi 6.0 programmatic implementing partners selection

The objective of this request for proposals (RFP) is to select qualified partners to support and deliver Gavi-eligible countries’ programmatic needs related to:

  • Country Delivery Department (CDD)
  • Vaccine Programmes (VP)
  • Health Systems & Immunisation Strengthening (HSIS)
  • Immunisation Financing & Sustainibility (IF&S)

Gavi seeks to develop longer-term engagement with expert partners through negotiated framework agreements for its entire 2026–2030 strategic period (Gavi 6.0).

Gavi operates in different programmatic areas. The nature of the related technical activities to be implemented by future selected qualified partners will be determined by their expertise and capacity to mobilise adequate resources to fulfill the CDD, VP, HSIS and IF&S technical requirements and objectives.

Early notice of RFP opportunity: technical assistance services to support Ethiopia’s immunisation programme

Gavi seeks to recruit technical assistance (TA) partner(s) to provide support to the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) to plan, design, execute and monitor strategies in the following investment areas:  

  • Supply chain: this TA aims to achieve the objective of increasing capacity and quality of vaccine storage and distribution to improve vaccine availability, especially in the last mile.
  • Health information systems, and monitoring and learning: this TA aims to achieve the objectives of: (i) improving data use-related capacity, tools, evidence-generation and/or systems for programme monitoring and learning, especially at subnational level; and (ii) strengthening information systems relevant to identifying and reaching zero-dose and under-immunised children.
  • Demand-generation and community engagement: this TA aims to achieve the objective of addressing gender considerations in the planning and implementation of immunisation services.
  • Governance, policy, strategic planning and programme management: this TA aims to achieve the objective of strengthening capacity of governance/technical bodies for planning, coordination and tracking progress at all levels, particularly for reaching zero-dose children.

RFP: Evaluation of Gavi's Private Sector Engagement Strategy 2021 - 2025

The purpose of this evaluation is to assess the relevance and performance and sustainability of Gavi’s PSE Strategy 2021–2025 and to generate actionable lessons to inform the design of the next PSE Strategy (2026–2030). It will examine how PSE modalities have mobilised resources, supported innovation, and advanced Gavi’s mission, particularly by strengthening immunisation systems and supporting efforts to reach zero-dose and under-immunized children.

RFP: Communication Support Services

Gavi’s communications team is seeking an agency to provide professional communication support services across key functions. The selected agency will contribute to the delivery of high-quality editorial content, web publishing and media monitoring, ensuring consistent and timely support to Gavi’s strategic communications objectives. The assignment covers three main service areas: 

1. Editorial and science writing for Gavi’s award-winning VaccinesWork digital platform; 

2. Web publishing and content management; 

3. Media monitoring and reporting. 

These are essential, ongoing functions within Gavi’s Communications Team, requiring an agency with demonstrated expertise and capacity to provide dedicated, high-quality support across all three areas, with flexibility to adjust level of effort according to workload and communication priorities.

RFP: Evaluation of the Big Catch-Up

The main purpose of this evaluation is to assess the extent to which the BCU achieved its intended targets in reaching ZD/UI children and strengthening RI systems, and to generate practical, forward-looking lessons that inform sustainable, equity focused catch up policies and programmes.
