Chukwunonso has played a key role in training community health workers in Nigeria during the roll-out of several vaccines, including the five-in-one (2012), pneumococcal (2014) and inactivated polio vaccines (2015). He is currently working on the National Supply Chain Integration Project, supported by the Federal Ministry of Health, where he is training supply chain officers and health workers on vaccine stock performance management, data reporting and more.
