Biography

Laura McKeaveney is Chief People and Experience Officer with more than 30 years of global leadership experience across a range of industries – fast-moving consumer goods, IT, medical devices and life sciences.

With a BA and MBA from the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland, she is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD). Before starting her own HR consulting firm in 2021, Laura was the Global Head of Patient Engagement at Novartis, having been the organisation’s Global Head of HR Pharma before that.

Laura has wide-ranging experience that includes strategy and organisational development, culture transformation, change management, and diversity and inclusion. She has been internationally recognised for her work and has received awards at both Medtronic and Novartis for organisational development and talent management.

Her Board experience includes Non-Executive Director of the Northern Ireland Civil Service, Chair at TinyLife, former Board member of Patient Focused Medicines Development (PFMD), former Chair of the International School of Basel, and she is a founding member of the patient think tank strategy group of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA). She is also a contributor to the Executive Education faculties of both London Business School and Luiss Business School in Rome.
