One was just named one of the world’s greatest leaders by Fortune alongside other game-changing vaccine champions, and the other is a multiple award-winning actor and activist currently starring on the popular television show, This is Us. On 24 April, these two came together to discuss all things COVID-19 and COVAX during an Instagram Live session.
From vaccine safety to new variants and the need to ensure that COVID-19 vaccines reach lower-income countries around the world, the message from Gavi CEO Dr Seth Berkley and Sterling K Brown was clear: We are not safe until everyone is safe, and that is why we must do all we can to protect not only ourselves and our immediate community, but also our global one.
