Leanne Jorari

Leanne Jorari is a Papua New Guinean media and communications specialist and freelance writer based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Her career spans over 8 years in PNG and the Asia-Pacific region; focusing on multifaceted development issues, ranging from Business, Politics and Human Rights Issues. She regularly writes for The Guardian and is a foreign correspondent for France Television subsidiary, NC La 1ere. She also volunteers as the Coordinator for the Pacific Freedom Forum; a regional media body, monitoring threats to press freedom and journalism ethics across Oceania; and as a board member for Papua New Guinean disability advocacy agency, NCDDAA.
